Current location: (C'mon dont and share)

Your Connection to Homewood: (at least fill in this line)

Name: Paulette Davis

Age: 56

Occupation: Director of Wilkinsburg Family Support Center, a program of Primary Care Health Services, Inc.

Location: 7317 Race Street

I lived in Homewood twice -- the first time from 1981-1983 and then returned to become a homeowner in 1990.  I'm enjoying my stay here on Race Street and committed to rebuilding our portion of the Homewood nation.

I am a native of Youngstown, Ohio and attended the East High School when it's colors were blue and gold and the mascot was a large golden bear.  People have seen my sweatshirt and commented that I have the "right colors" for Homewood and mascot at first glance looks like that Westinghouse Bulldog.  I must have been destined to relocate to Homewood!

I attended Kent State University and have a Bachelor of Arts degree.  I was there a year after the infamous shooting, but certainly during some real student activist years.  I've visited Pittsburgh during the 60s, particularly 1968 after the MLK shooting.  I have a large extended family here in Pittsburgh so I've always felt a kinship to the city even before I moved here -- I look forward to being part of the solution for our redevelopment.
